Painting is how my art journey started back in 2003.
Like so many others, I was a creative kid, but with the turbulence of my teenage years my artistic development got a severe kick in the teeth and went dormant. The experimental and mind expanding phase in my early twenties ripped it right back out of dormancy. Until 2016 this was the way I expressed myself artistically.
There followed a slow shift towards sculpting, until the painting went dormant again.
For me this gallery functions as a sort of archive. At least for now.

Apart from arts and crafts in school until age 14, and classical technical drawing while studying mechanics, I’ve had no formal training in drawing or painting. Although I greatly respect art history, I’ve made no attempts to study its paint styles.
I’ve put originality before everything, striking my own path with intuitive exploration as my only guide and teacher.
